I was born in 1942 in Bromley, Kent, England, the second of

5 children and lived there for 11 years, then the family

 moved up to Sutton-in -Ashfield in Nottinghamshire.

In March 1957 my father took a job in Höganäs, Sweden,

 and the whole family came with him. After a year we

 moved out to Arild, to a beautiful house up on the hill over

 the sea. During those years I married and moved to Höganäs

 and later to Helsingborg. My husband Tommy Ahlström and

I had 3 children.

In 1994 my new husband, Berndt persuaded

me to leave my work in Ramlösa Brunnspark school and go

 with him to Spain to live. We spent a few wonderful years

travelling around Europe, spending  winters in Spain,

spring and autumn in England, and summers in Sweden.

In1997 Berndt's health forced us to return and we decided

to find somwhere to live with Kenneth and his family,

Susanne and 2 girls, Ylva and Freja. I found our house in

Löderup, in beautiful Österlen, and we still live here.

Kenneth, who works at gardening has created a

paradise here for us.
